"When flying between Mana Pools and Hwange in May I considered whether I was brave enough to jump out of a plane. I decided I was. Back in the UK, it came to me that I should make this jump worthwhile: a fundraiser for PDC was born. And so it began, jump booked, contact with PDC UK made, fundraising page set up and publicised on social media. Friends, family and clients have learned more about Painted Dogs than they probably wanted to know 🙂 but their support has been amazing. I had hoped to raise enough money to cover the cost of 3 protective collars, mission accomplished!"
A great day had by all. PDC-UK would like to thank Marlow & Cookham Bridge Rotary Clubs for providing the charity with the 'perfect platform' to meet new friends.
It is with great sadness that PDC-UK has recently learned of the death of David Shepherd. The Charity would like to offer its sincere condolences to his family. David was a much revered Wildlife Artist & Conservationist. His legacy will 'live on' through the dedicated work of The David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation.
Yet another GREAT SUCCESS for our charity. A sincere thanks to the WHF Directors, staff, and both new and returning supporters, from the PDC-UK Trustees (not forgetting the 'dogs'!)
